Hey everyone. Lots of things going on here. Just a quick update. we just got back last night from filming Celebrity Fit Club for VH1. What a trip! We had a blast. The crew was blown away by the food. I made a huge spread and they went wild for it. Reality TV, gotta love it!!!!

The whole premise was this: they walk in to a table spread with gourmet raw food that looks like the real thing. I’m standing there with Dr. Ian in a mess tent (its set in camp grounds). We talk and I tell them what it really is, then we sit and hang out for an hour and eat while they taste everything and I talk about raw, how great it is for you, what it can do for you, what it has done for me, how you don’t have to count calories, fat grams, etc….
This will air in March some time on VH1. Ill keep you posted.

Gotta run, starting a 5 day training today, just wanted to answer some of the questions your all sending in.

Wow that's awesome. Good to see rawfoods going mainstream. Also, I see you and Dr. Ian are friendlier than the Tyra Banks Show producers made you out to be! ;-)

I've always enjoyed watched Celebrity Fit Club and it's about time raw eating was added to that show!

!! I've been watching every season of celebrity fit club since it started and now I have even more of a reason to watch! How exciting for you and for the world getting the message of raw food out there.. you can bet this website is going to EXPLODE after that episode airs...

*starts rethinking the idea of becoming a raw food teacher* ;)

congrats Alissa!!! I know that must have been so much fun!

I watch it too. Another one of my ex-favorite shows 'Top Chef' had a rawfood quick fire challenge.

I think it's wonderful that you are getting a chance to show and prove to America the benefits of eating raw. Books, radio and websites are one medium but you know what a powerful tool TV is to reach people!!

The Tyra Banks show did it for me, and honestly I read articles and websites, heard about the raw food movement and how many restaurants were around the country and was even familiar with your work, but until I seen it in action, did I really start to examine it as a serious way to eat.

America is so bombarded with fad diets--most of them just for weight loss--that health is secondary. I would love to see you be able to share some of the success stories on this website. ---Call Oprah--we need you on there!!

Also -does anyone know if the lady on the Tyra Banks show moved her family to Boston to work at Alissa's new restaurant?
