After reading Victoria Boutenko's Green for Life, I rushed out and bought ingredients for my first green smoothie:
It tasted great, better than I had expected. The smoothie consisted of:
organic Romaine Hearts (4-5 leaves)
organic Spinach (1-2 handfuls)
organic Bananas (2)
1/2 navel orange
3 cubed chunks watermelon
purified water (2 cups)
The only thing I didn't add was the cucumber (also organic).
