I'm so excited! I've only tried out a few recipes, but they have been fabulous! My only regret was that I didn't get the one with the timer. I just went to Alissa's site and ordered the 9 tray...I didn't realize there were different models....but, oh well. It's going to be great!

Anyway, so far I've just filled up 3-4 trays at a time. I'm wondering what everyone else does with the remaining trays if they aren't being used? Can you just leave them in there or do you remove them?

Any other dehydrator tips would be great! Thanks!

Congrats, which model did you purchase? I'm going to get an excalibur and I hope they have the timer. Have fun making your creations!

you can leave them in or take them out, it doesn't matter.

You can always purchase a small plugin timer at the hardware store for under $10 - you just set the time to start and time to end, plus your dehydrator into it and then plug into the wall socket. This is what I do. Works fab.
Congrats on the dehydrator. I have an American Harvester which so far is working for me but my wish list includes an Excalibur 9 try so that I can put bowls in it.
