hi everyone, my name is pete, i'm 33, i have been transitioning to an all raw diet for a few months. i'm now in my second week of 99-100% raw.

my fiance has been raw for 2 years, so my transition has been easier than most since all the tools are already in place. all i needed to do was get motivated and start making food!

ever since i was young i got sick every time the season changed.
mostly brochitis, but in the later years pnemonia. chronic sinus infections,
and just overall poor health.
i'm 6'3" and a few months ago i topped the scales @309lbs  .
i have dropped 40lbs just by eating about 40% raw. i haven't been sick at all since i incorporated that small amount of raw food.

after seeing how well my fiance has done on raw i decided that enough was enough and two weeks ago (after attending the new life expo in nyc) i went all raw.

i wasn't able (or ready) to go raw 2 years ago when she did, but better late than never, right?

Hey, Pete! Welcome. I'm in CT too, though a bit more central. I'm lucky enough to be right by Whole Foods and Wild Oats. You have a couple of cute little health food stores up by you though. I used to LOVE Back to Earth.

I've been raw for a couple of years, and it sounds like you are on your way. You are so lucky to have your fiance. Awesome to have you here. :D

HAH! Oh I just said HI to your fiancee.

God bless Paul! It's so awesome that you that you have taken the opportunity to become a greater person with her help. It is a huge step for you to come to her and embrace the lifestyle that has helped her achieve so much.

Good luck with your transition!
