These are my downfall. Especially when they are blended in chocolate icecream. I've done a search, and see a few nut/chocolate recipes. Which are your favorite and taste most like my old favorite? I would try all the recipes, but I'm limited financially for the next couple of weeks. I can't afford to try a recipe and have it not work out, especially give the price of raw chocolate.

Any takers? Which is your favorite raw peanut butter cup recipe?

I know! That's the one I've been eying. It doesn't have a picture, though, that I can see?? I've also got my eye on the Super Candy thread. Just can't decide which one to try...

my Cashew Butter Fudge recipe:

First make cashew butter:

2 cups raw cashews
4-6 Tbsp canola oil (add more if needed)
1/2 tsp sea salt

blend all in food processor until creamy and set aside.

next Cacao Fudge:

1/2 cup Raw Cacao Powder
1/2 cup Coconut Oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup grade B maple syrup

mix all together in bowl. Now take small luncheon size plate and rub with oil. Your first layer is the Cacao Fudge sauce ( use half of the sauce), then set in freezer for few mins to stiffen up. Next spread thick layer of the cashew butter and put back in freezer for few mins. Then pour rest of the fudge sauce over cashew butter. take some raw cashews and chop up and sprinkle over top ans put in freezer for 10-15 mins and it is ready.

Remember, this has to be kept in the refridge at all time because it is REAL and HEALTH and doesnt have fake stuff to keep it from melting. Looks like a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup! LOL

aslraw,

I started a couple wks after you, and weighed about the same! I'm only down to about 130....sigh......

So I'd better not make these, if I want to catch you! LOL

I wonder if the chocolate wouldn't be stiffer if you used cacoa butter instead of coconut oil.

And, I'm not a big fan of canola oil --you may want to research this....Especially if it's not organic --Here in the states 80% of canola oil is GMO, if it's not organic.
