I finished the bottle this past week. I really liked the enzymes. I am someone who had suffered in the past (before raw) with chronic constipation and bloating. My goal is to eventually and 3 bowel movements a day consistently. I know I'll get there. The enzymes were great, they didn't make me feel full or sick or anything. I take them because I can get constipated from too much yummy raw foods also (like pigging out on nuts or something like that). I finished the bottle earlier in the week and had still been having numerous bowel movements since then. I am thankful for those darling little enzymes. I think they are busy working on clean-up patrol for things that have been lingering. I'm excited and I'm ordering some more.... If I ate something that I didn't think was the best combination for me; I just popped some of the enzymes. I also popped some between eating just for the added cleansing benefit.
Thanks Alissa for a great product!

I take enzymes too but have wondered about the usefulness being raw and all. Are Alissa's enzymes designed for raw vegans such as ourselves? If so, that is EXACTLY what I am looking for.....I'll have to check them out! Thanks for the tip lavendarj!

I've thought about popping them for my dehydrated food. Thanks for the recommendation.

Alissa's enzymes are truly the best I've ever tried. They are amazing. I've used the regular enzymes and the theraputic ones which were absolutely incredible. Alissa rawks.

Which ones were you taking, the Premium or Therapeutic? I've just about run out of the digestive enzymes I've been taking and need to get more.
The premium says this:
Suggested dose:
2-3 capsules or 1/4-1/2 t with each meal
2-3 capsules or 1/4-1/2 t can also be taken between meals as a total body cleanse.
How many did you take per 'meal' or per day?

My spouse drinks pepto-bismol? from the container!! Gross!!! Do you think digestive enzymes will help with his gut? I would love to see him never buy another container of that pink stuff.. He drinks about 2 bottles per month
Wow,trinity that's alot!
What symptoms is he trying to counteract, (since Pepto is a catch all)?

I was taking the premium I think (capsules) and man I'm thinking if these babies work wonders then the therapeutic must be off the charts. I took 2-3 with at least 3 of my meals depending on what I ate (mainly if I ate a lot of dried and dehydrated stuff). I try to eat 6 or 7 small meals per day if I can. I also took these on an empty stomach just for the extra cleansing and had no problems.

Yep, Stina that's exactly why I thought I needed to take them...the dehyrated stuff gives me the same reaction as nonraw foods if I eat too much of it. I'm ordering more enzymes today just to have on stash. I used the others too quickly. I wanted to use them while I was experimenting with my eating though.
They really rocked for me!

I am going to read up on enzymes. I am not 100% raw yet, so these might help me move things along. I have been eating lemon and citrus before/after eating salads and nuts. I really hate taking things that seem un-natural to me. I'm sure they are natural enzymes, just un-natural to my way of thinking.

I was wondering how long he has been taking it and why. Freshly juiced green cabbage juice is supposed to known for its extreme healing properties regarding all sorts of digestive issues (like ulcers for example).
Also, if you get a chance to go into Alissa's store you'll find a link that will explain the basic purposes of the ingredients in her enzymes. I'm no expert but I believe the enzymes will help. Sometimes the combo of food we eat can irk the stomach in other ways too.
Just thinking out loud...I hope he finds what he needs to heal so he won't have to be on the pink stuff forever:)

ya right *lol* :p
...hmmm....I know that when I eat cooked I get the WORST gas and bloating. I find that minced parsley in my smoothies and salads helps IMMENSELY. You may want to try and have him chew on some.
You know, that's one of the reasons restaurants add parsley to your plates. It's not really a decoration, it's for breath & digestion.

Can you tell me about your experience with the therapeutic enzymes please? I'm thinking about ordering these but I'd like to have as much info as possible before I do, so I can decide if they're right for me or not.
I already take her premium enzymes and they're great, but how much more aggressive are the therapeutic enzymes?
