Hi Everyone.
I'm Dann checking in from the West Central Florida area. I am a 43 year old male just giving the raw diet lifestyle a go to see what happens. I am pretty well convinced it is the right thing to do in term of my personal health. Its just a matter of adapting to it. I have no preconcieved notions of how challenging it could be to transition from the typical western diet.
I'll go ahead and appologise upfront before I ask the rookie questions that I will no doubt be asking in the future. The good part is I have 20 more days before I get started. I have been on the Master Cleanser fast for 20 days. I thought that would be a good way to prepare mentally, physically and spiritually before working the raw diet into my lifestyle.
I started this journey at 5ft 9in at 230 lbs. :eek: Yeah I know. So far in twenty days of hitting my trusty bowflex I have shed 22 lbs. And have transitioned myself from rotund fat body to pudgy ladies man. I am amazed at how much weight I am dropping and how fast it is burning off. I don't really have a weight goal per se but I have a goal of just being lean and in great shape for someone my age. I guessing that could be in the 170-180lbs area.
I'm sure I have alot to learn about this and will fall off the horse more than my share in the process of learning how to master this.
Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
