I don't have a blender and would like to try green smothies. has anyone tried making them in a food processer? I hate to try it and have it not work cause all that food is expensive.

Thank You. I'll think I'll make a little one and just see how it does.I really don't want to buy a blender right now.

I don't think you could in mine. I have the wide mouth kind. It seems to do better with more solid things. Things that are more liquidy tend to shoot out the top. I can't remember now what it was I made that was rather liquidy. I'll remember next time I make it... Whatever it was, I was shocked that it was coming out the top and I had to wrap the top around the edge with paper towels, holding them tightly until I got the liquid mixed in.

You can use a Magic Bullet. I have not personally priced them lately but I've heard they came down in price.
