Can pregnancy cause dark eye circles? I never had this problem before. I'm at the beginning of my 7 months of pregnancy and I just noticed this problem about 3 weeks ago. Is it my hormones? And will it go away after I give birth?

I have no knowledge but are you taking birth control pills or something that may be clogging the liver?

Perhaps you have a form of anemia as your baby begins to draw more nutrients from your body. I would check with a doctor about a pregnancy appropriate vegan vitamin/mineral supplement.

Your body is under a great deal of strain to say the least!
It can be as simple as that.
Just make sure you're eating enough good fats and lots of foods with concentrated nutrition like greens.
Best, and many congratulations,
How do you feel? Are you feeling tired? More than usual? It could have something to do with tiredness. Getting extra sleep and extra nutrients can help.
Also, dark circles can be a sign your liver is overtaxed. I don't know what your eating pattern is now that you are pregnant or if you use any medicine etc.
Have you been raw for long, or did you start recently? Or have you cleaned up your diet recently? If so, it's possible your body is getting rid of toxins and this can put extra strain on the liver, as does (extra) stress, lack of sleep, lack of movement/excercise. In that case you might be experiencing some other detox symptoms too.
Herbal (liver) tea, lots of water and green vegetables, mild excercise, proper breathing, relaxation and/or meditation could help.

Hi. I notice dark under eye circles often in pregnant women, especially those who eat cooked foods. I also notice t hem in children who eat alot of sugar and white bread, as well as teenagers. They are often a sign that the body is experience stress (such as during times of active growth) as well as fatigue (not enough or good sleep), eating too much sugar, food sensitivities or bad combination of foods or mineral deficinecies/depletion.
I have dark under eye circles and it was worse during my first pregnancy (mostly cooked). I have been blessed to have met a few ladies who ate 100% raw and the energy from them was amazing, they also didn't have dark under eye circles and their hair and skin was radiant. They seemed to literally glow from the inside out. I had the chance to ask them questions and found that they did have dark circles before raw too. I think their diet which was full of nutrient-rich raw foods supplied them with minerals and enzymes abundantly and so they were radiatnly healthy and naturally beautiful and happy. I've never met such happy people who shone like that. I've learned from them that it is wise to remember why we're eating raw to begin with, to nourish our bodies. I know some believe we can get all the nourishment we need without so-called super foods (which we only regard as super since we don't normally eat them in a SAD diet but to many people they are normal foods that is their sustenance and it pays them in health). But I feel our bodies need to be highly nourished especially if we grew up on cooked and depleted foods, and especially during times of rapid growth and stress (thus often avoiding the stress on the body since it is properly and fully nourished). Also, I could be wrong as I'm so new to being raw experience-wise, but sugar depletes and stresses our bodies, even sugar from alot of dried fruit and raw honey, I think these should be used moderately. Fresh fruit doesn't seem to do that though.
I forgot to add that the super foods are things like raw dulse and other seaweeds, wheatgrass juice, bee pollen, raw macca, etc. I prefer to call them nourishing foods or nutrient-rich foods.
