Does anyone have a good staple cream sauce base recipe? I'm thinking that like almond milk that I have on hand at all times, that it would be nice to have something like this so that whenever I need a Ranch Style dressing, or a base for a cream soup, that I could just use a basic cream sauce made and ready in the fridge.
Thanks. :)

I found this on www.goneraw.com (http://www.goneraw.com)
Let me know how it turns out!!! It got good reviews.
Garden Ranch Dressing
makes about 4-5 cups
Variations: For a more flavorful dressing, use Seed or Nut Yogurt/Cheese instead of seeds, and/or blend in 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp turmeric and 1/8 tsp black peppercorns
Ingredients
1 medium tomato, quartered
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
1 medium cucumber, sliced
1 small carrot, sliced
1 cup either germinated almonds, pumpkin or sunflower seeds
2 pitted dates or dash of stevia powder
½ cup Rejuvelac or the juice of one lemon
½ cup Olive Oil
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
3 cloves Garlic and little chunk of onion
Celtic sea salt and/or kelp powder to taste
small handful of each: fresh dill, parsley, oregano, basil Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a blender (preferably a Vita-mix) and blend until smooth.

You can blend soaked cashews with some water to get a creamy consistency. You can then flavour it to suit your needs - you can make frosting or savoury dips - I like to make sour cream by adding lime juice, garlic and sea salt.
