Does anybody know if the Gerson therapy is a raw food diet. I know it is vegan but not sure if they used cooked food and what type?
thanks

Unless something's changed recently, no, it's not raw. http://www.cancertutor.com/Cancer/Gerson.html

Hi Raylee,
My Dad was on the Gerson Therapy. We actually went down to Mexico to learn the program. It is not a raw therapy. It includes a mix of carrot and green juices throughout the day, actually, every hour. Lunch and dinner consist of a vegetable soup, baked potato and a steamed vegetable. The process of steaming anything on this program is done at a very low temperature to try and maintain the nutrient content. I hope I've answered your question. Let me know if you have any others.
