Hi. My name is Vanessa. I live in Chicago where I started my own little business as a raw foods personal chef. I was raised vegetarian (in upstate New York) and got into raw foods about 3 years ago.
I personally am not totally raw. It's always a goal though. One of the problems is that I'm so busy working and making lots of yummy raw foods for my clients, when I get home I sure don't feel like making any more food, so I grab whatever is convenient.
I signed up here hoping for a little support to help me because I'd really like to be maximally raw this summer. I just have to do for myself what I do for my clients- it's just not that easy!
Anyways, if you're interested, check out my website- www.SomeLikeItRaw.net.

Welcome and what a wonderful website! It's very entertaining and exciting.

I live in Cleveland, OH and am also hoping to be mostly raw now that the warmer weather is here.

Hello Vanessa!

Welcome aboard!

Thanks for letting us peruse your wonderful website. You surely have an impressive menu. Is there any chance that you might share some tantalizing recipes with us on this website? Please know that this is only a request since many of us are nowhere near Chicago where your business is located.

Looking forward to hearing from you again!

Cheers,

Wayne

Vanessa,

Welcome!

I'm wondering if you can make larger portions when making something for someone else ~ and have something wonderful for you?

Thanks for the offer to share. I'm looking for a good seaweed soupl Didn't see it on the menu. Do you know of one?

Thanks! :)

Hello Vanessa!

Believe it or not, I am having an awfully hard time figuring out which dish to select for your recipe. Everything on your menu looks heavanly delicious.

Since I like soup -- very easy to prepare with a blender as the main tool. If you don't mind sharing more than one recipe, there are three soups that seem very interesting -- Mexican Red Pepper Soup, African Spicy Seasame Soup and Fig Stew.

Just a hint - if you plan to post recipes at all, please use the appropriate forum which is "Raw Recipes and Raw Food Preparation" on this website. That way, it would be easier for people to find your tantalizing recipes and leave your current thread to other people so they can continue to warmly welcome you aboard.

Have a RAWSOME day!

Wayne

looking through your website makes me want to hire you AND become a raw chef myself. i am so inspired, can't wait to learn how to prepare more complicated dishes. it takes me forever to do the most basic meals. maybe you can make a dvd of recipe preparation?? i would definitely buy it! :)
