I have Alissa Book and DVD and they were great. But I have noticed that after I eat I feel a little nauseous. Has anybody else felt this way when you decided to go 100% raw?
I am going to stick with it and hope it goes away. Need advise.

I don't know why you would be nauseous. However, my advice is to stick with it.
If you are hungry, eat raw! Don't worry about calories, grams, etc.. Many of us like to eat alot of greens. I am one of them. Greens can help balance energy levels, and they are chock full of vitamins, minerals and protein.
Blessings.

Princess,
Hard to know what to say unless you give more information. What have you had to eat? In what quantities? At what times?
Whether someone else has experienced this or not ~ this is your experience. They can all say "yes" and have had it for a different reason. Let's find out what is your possible reason, 'k?
Welcome!

You can feel that way, if:
1. You have waste in your system that is backing up
2. You body has not adjusted to raw/roughage
3. You have not combined food properly
4. you have not consummed enough water to accomodate what you are eating and your body is dehydrated.

hello everyone,
For breakfast I had an orange 8 am and then 2 hrs later I was hungry and I eat an apple.
When luch time came I had Alissa Fetticcini Alfredo and thats when I felt nauseous. The food was good and I didn't over eat. I stopped when I felt satisfied. I don't know maybe I'm trying to get use to the raw food.
Maybe I will start of with salads and work my way to the other meals in Alissa Book.
I just don't understand why a felt sick.
Thanks for you help.

Mmmm, okay. I would say it's possible it's the Alfredo. If you've not felt nauseous on apple, orange and stuff. I didn't feel real well after that myself. Could just be the combination.
Try salads, mono meals, and maybe something lighter like the angel hair pasta with sauce, things like that.
Green smoothies would be good also.

Oh, I felt that way too - it was way to heavy for me and I was the combo. Maybe now it might be okay - but I didn't really like the cooked versions, so....

I felt this way after eating the Fettuccine Alfredo myself. I was following the 4 week plan and tried to eat the Alfredo several times in the first week. Each time, I got a stomach ache -- it was just too nut-heavy for my body. I ended up not being able to eat much of those types of food.

Hi,I would say it is the heaviness of the nuts in the alfredo sauce, like Raw Truth. I too feel slightly nauseus is I eat this particular dish.
I also, used to feel that way if I am eating citric acid fruits with any kind of dairy in my system, years ago.
Just know that you will also be detoxing, so you might have some symptoms that are slightly uncomfortable, but know too, that we are all here to help, and let you know what we've either gone through, or are going through right now.
CONGRATULATIONS on going RAW, you RAWK!!!!!
We totally welcome you.
