I am exploring the idea of eating 100% raw, but i have never even been vegetarian let alone vegan. My proteins as of now consist mainly of raw fish and the rest is pasta's fruits etc. Is there any advice or thoughts that anyone has about what would be the best way to transition to 100% raw or should i just go for it???

I would first buy a book!!! The first book I read was 12 Steps to Raw Food by Victoria Boutenko.....GREAT!!! I also bought Shazzie's "Detox Your World" and Alissa's "Living on Live Food". The books will give you a lot of motivation and inspiration! I have not read through all of Alissa's book yet but the recipes are AWESOME!!! Victoria's book is very helpful to make the first step - it's small and an easy read. Shazzie's book is more detailed and also lists different choices you can make to make your whole life better! (Ionizer, plants, dental hygine, etc.) I'm really looking forward to reading all of Alissa's book!!!

Depending on what type of person you are - if you are adventurous - go for it, however, I agree with raeannasun - find some material to read. This site will help you through - read the journals- read the journals for information.
I found out about raw in 1993 and began then to collect books on the subject. I still read as much as possible for recipes mostly, as I feel instinctively that this is working well for me and it is what my body needs.
Determine why you want to go raw - see what you are willing to give up, and move in the direction that works best for you - for some it starts with one meal per day, others cold turkey. We will support you here - best wishes to you!

I have taken a few books from the library, am going for colonics on Sunday (not a new thing) and have an appointment with a nutritionist/naturopath next week. Until then i am trying to incorporate as many veggies and fruits as possible and am experimenting with sauces, anything to get more veggies in me. Any suggestions on sauces?

To be honest -- most libraries don't have the good books; they're mostly published by small publishing houses or self published.
As far as "sauces" you can check the recipe section here and browse through threads or search the internet for other raw sites. Do you mean dressings and dips to dip the veggies in?
Be aware that it's an unusual naturopath who advocates raw, so, don't get discouraged in case s/he isn't familiar with or doesn't support the lifestyle.
