I have made a few different raw soups and they weren't bad. My question is I am finally getting my boyfriend to try most of my meals. He did try the last soup I made but said he couldn't get past the look of it. He said it looked like baby food. Any ideas on soups I could make that don't look like baby food? I don't have a food processor and I only have a CHEAP blender.

Gazpacho is good even with the colder weather setting in (I always add avo chunks to mine and inclued fresh herbs for great taste). Tomato or cream of tomato with some diced tomato pieces mixed in or garnished on top. Maybe float a couple small basil leaves or shredded pieces on top, too. I often prefer my soups smooth, but occasionaly will stir in the veggies for variety--especially corn chowder, sometimes pea soup. Shredding carrots or beet and putting on top also adds variety and a touch of sweetness.

There was a veggie soup posted somewhere that I had been meaning to try and haven't yet that sounded like small chunks and a wide variety of taste.

Ooh--edited to add to try Alissa's chili recipe and the chile recipe on here, too. They are relly good and are more of a chunky texture.

Please let us know what works for you--soup weather is definately here.
