I've just tried goji berries for the first time. Interesting flavour...
What can they be used in? Our blender wouldn't be able to handle them in a smoothie (stupid blender). Is there anything else I could put them in? They're not bad by themselves... is that the best way to eat them?

I prefer to eat them with cacao nibs. It's a great snack! Just plain cacao nibs mixed with goji berries. I love 'em! I know other folks have soaked 'em and made juice or added them to fruit salads, etc. I love them plain by themselves.

I usually soak gojis in freshly made fruit juice, this makes them plump & juicy & easy to blend or mix into recipes

I use them for many things, but one thing I like to do is chop them up and use them to make "jelly"
smashed raspberries, strawberries or blueberries
touch agave nectar
chopped goji's
I used to add them with smashed fresh fruit and organic jam to make a healthier jelly for my kids almond butter and jelly sandwiches. Now they will eat it the all-raw way.;)

I eat them as a snack like you would raisins. Sometimes I mix them with raisins and put them in a zip lock bag and munch on them while watching TV.
I like to put them in my cereal of almonds, almond pulp, hemp seeds, dehydrated blue berries and salba seeds.

My four year old is insistent about mixing them in her green smoothies (after it's made, she'll mix the whole berries in with a spoon). I think she likes some chewiness in her smoothies.

Hmmm... I can't even stand banana lumps, so this would probably make me gag! To each his/her own, right?
I've just been eating the berries like raisins. Sometimes with cacao nibs (I've developed a taste for those, too), sometimes with some raw macadamia nuts. Makes a nice "trail mix". :)

I just made larabar type snack bars using gojis. I ground them up in their dry state then added to other nuts, dried fruits etc to make bars that i then dehydrated. Really yummy.
