Can anyone give me a recipe for Oatmeal Cookies? (I believe Juliano has a recipe in his book...not sure if we're "allowed", so to speak, to post that here?)

I don't have the recipe handy, but it's been posted here already. If you go to the banana at the top (says 'Search') and type in "oatmeal cookies", I believe it should come up.

I just made some awesome ones (loved by the whole picky family mind you) and it went something like this (this was loosely based on Juliano's recipe):

2 cups steel cut oats, ground into flour w/food processor (you can use whole oat groats too, I had the steel cut oats on hand)
1/4 flax seeds, ground
6-8 dates, pitted
6-8 figs
couple handfuls of almonds
2 minced apples
handful of shredded coconut
about 1/3 - 1/2 cup agave
about 1 tbs vanilla

Place dates, figs, almonds and coconut in food processor, pulse-chop until well chopped, almost mealy. Add with the apples to the bowl of ground oats and flax with the agave and vanilla and stir well. Scoop on to dehydrator sheets and flatten out with palm of hand (dough will stick to a utensil) and dehydrate about a day until done.
