I did an experiment while making breads last night and, well I just love raw, who says you can't play with your food!!?
I had some seseme/flax crackers that I had made a ton of so I crushed them in the bag and then ran them through the coffee grinder and used them as the flax part of the onion bread recipe.
I made one batch of onion bread, made the second batch and added a failed attempt at eggplant chips, which I ground in the FP somewhat and the last 1/2 cup of some marinara. Yummy!
Lastly, I used a failed sweet potato-chip recipe, ground them in the FP, added chopped apple, the re-ground crackers, honey and sunflower seeds that had been soaked. Well, this I had this morning with chocolate sauce, freakin' yummy!! It tastes like nutella sandwiches.
Why would I ever be unsatisfied with raw, and I love recycling my living food into another recipe!
