I have a friend who has been told by a well known nutritionist that she shouldn't eat anything sprouted. They're assuming it encourages problems with her ailments that they're treating. Anyway, I was wondering, since she is going to continue with this Dr.'s advice, if simply soaking a seed would be roughly the equivalent to sprouting in terms of releasing the enzymes. She seems to think that she would be able to ingest soaked seeds as a recipe ingredient but not the sprouted. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this?
I'm sorry I'm being so vague about what she's doing, but Alissa has requested we not bring up other methods and my friend would really like to help me test out my new dehydrator :) but is understandably cautious.
