Howdy all, maybe someone can help me with this one. I made way too many mung sprouts. I love them but I can't eat them fast enough and I don't want to waste them. Are there any recipeis where I could add them to something to make crackers or breads or chocolate cake (LOL)!?! I am willing to consider any and all ideas.

Thanks friends.

goodbeets,

Good question. Have been trying to remember a recipe I had at an Asian rest. years ago--was a bean sprout salad. Mung bean sprouts, finely juliened cucumber, onion, celery, carrot were in it. A presence of sesame seeds and a light, slightly vinegar/slightly sweet sauce is what it was kind of marinated in (maybe a touch of soy and toasted sesame, but it was not a dark dressing). Absolutely adored this salad at the rest. and would order it EVERY visit. Need to experiment to recreat this when I get a chance.

Adore raw Pad Thai with lots of sprouts, too. Alissa's book has a good recipe. Have seen stir fry recipes posted somewhere here that I believe called for mung sprouts.

Sorry I don't have more ideas--long hard week and tired in the brain today.

Please let us know what you try.
