Raw Aloe Vera Barbadensis

I have found some plants on ebay which am going to get very soon, my plan is to eat the raw aloe vera, just wondering if u had any advice on this... as in how to get the gel out..

I am getting two plants but i dont see how am going to eat this gel everyday... the leaves will not grow in time.. has anyone any methods they would lke to share?

We have two mexican markets that sell the large leaves, like the ones you see in the dessert on tv.
I cut off the end and slice the green skin off and use the flesh inside, i just put it in my blender with orange juice or milk and a banana and blend.
I love the taste but don't put too much in unless you don't mind the aloe taste, it can be overpowdering if you use too much.

wow I didnt know you could buy just the leaves..

Time to go shopping, although Liverpool isnt the best place for healthy stores
