results from oil pulling

I have started the oil pulling, today was my second day. I am doing it once a day right now. I was wondering how quickly people who are doing this experienced benefits or a worsening of current or past health problems? I have alot of mucus now today and my asthma is acting up just wondered if this is related? also how soon did you notice benefits to your teeth, ie. whitening, strenghthening, better gums etc.? Thanks

I noticed my teeth getting whiter within about a week or so & my gumline tooth sensitivity disappeared in about that time as well. I also noticed that I got badly mucus-y within a minute or 2 of pulling - EVERY time! I didn't notice anything getting worse, but I did notice I was far less stuffy in the mornings & am now only slightly mucus-y about a minute after I wake up & for a few minutes after oil pulling every day. I still get the mucus within minutes of pulling in the mornings, but it's pretty negligible by comparison now.

My gum tissue is slowly growing back and my teeth are less sensitive and i don't wake up with a fog over my head anymore in the morning.
And i can sleep almost anywhere:)
