I get the newsletter for The Best Day Ever and was reading about the detox supplement NCD that raw foodist Dr. Gabriel Cousen recommends. Anyone tried? Any feedback? thanks

NCD? As in Natural Cellular Defense, the liquid zeolite? Well, it's actually clinoptilolite, a zeolite formed of silica and aluminum atoms. It's supposed to be very stable (in that it won't deposit aluminum in your body) and can capture and hold toxins such as heavy metals so that the body can safely eliminate them. It supposedly doesn't cause a yeast overgrowth (which sulfur-based chelators such as DMSA are known to do), making it a good way to pull the heavy metals out of people (such as kids with autism) who may already have candida problems.
I have some, and I have tried it. I didn't notice any positive change, though my body was very toxic when I tried it, and I did get a detox reaction (spaciness). I couldn't get anywhere near the recommended dose because of those symptoms. Another problem is that it is quite expensive for what is, essentially, volcanic rock in a bottle.
