After only one month of many many failed dehydrator recipes with my el cheapo one and convincing the DH, I'm finally getting a Excalibur Dehydrator

WOOOHHOOOO!!!!!!

I'm totally excited. just about every day for the last two weeks i've been sending DH an email at work with the links to the Vitamix and Excalibur.
He just got an email from his school and he's getting a financial aid refund!!!!
It's just enough for me to get the dehydrator!!! :D :D :D :D

I just bought one too.....a four tray, since I am the only one in my house that is raw.

UMMMMMMMMM tortilla chips, I'm going to try onion bread again, buckwheat bread or crackers... i think that's what it is. I'm going to try flaxseed crackers again. there's more i just can't remember.

Let's do the happy dance together!! (Wish I knew how to do the dancing icons like Starfire uses!) I just ordered a 9-tray from Alissa's store last night!! I can't wait!! My birthday is tomorrow, so I won't have it by then;) , but I hope to have it soon.

I think one of the first things I will make is this onion bread I've been hearing about!! Then maybe some flax crackers, and a nut loaf, and....:p

You are so lucky! I want one! I will have to wait a while (Christmas at the latest.) I holding out for the best of the best. I want the 9 tray 3000 model with the timer.

Have decided now that the Canadian dollar is doing so well that now might be the time to order it. I currently have the AH but hate making everything in the round.......
Hope everyone who is wanting one or has already ordered one gets it soon!

Now that we've discussed the dehydrator, has anyone gotten the spiral slicer? I'm thinking I need to get one of these too. I have a whole slew of squash and want to make spaghetti out of them.
Figure if it's an appliance I'd use all the time I'd get one at the same time I order the dehyrator.
