Hey all,

I just got a flyer in the mail saying Vitamix is having a Buy 1 Get one 1/2 off sale right now on their product. For those of you who don't have one, but want one and know someone that wants to get one too, this might be a good deal. I think that even if you've been pricing the refurb'd ones that this deal on the non-refurb'd ones is like 20.00 cheaper for each one after you split the cost. Not sure, but just wanted to let you guys know who are interested and haven't bought on yet.

Danielle

PS: There is also a sale on extra containers. All items are 99.00. Compact container, 64 oz Dry Blade container, 64 oz Wet Blade container, and a new 64 oz 'Soft Grip' container.

I got the info sent to me directly from Vitamix. Hope that helps. It's their holiday sale.

Hi Danielle,

I went to the website and didn't see anything about this. Is there a special code you have to put in?

Thanks!

Just looked at my flyer again. Here is the link on their site:

www.getvitamix.com/holiday or call 1-800-VITAMIX.

The free shipping code is: 007124272

Hope this helps.

I want one of these so bad, but I am not in the position to drop $350. I was looking all over ebay. Does anyone have the older version ones. Do they work well too? Any other options in terms of food processors/grinders that you found work well

The problem, if you can really call it a problem, with all of the various Vita-Mix blenders is that they are such powerful, efficient blenders that once someone owns one they seldom, if ever sell it..

They started out as commercial machines, & the company has never deviated from their original marketing strategy..

Quality has not been compromised over the years (to appease those who don't want to pay what a Vita-Mix is worth), which is why so many older machines are still in existance, even with daily use..

To answer your question, yes there is a SLIM possibility that you might be able to pick up one of the older models from someone who is upgrading to a newer model..

Check out the various raw forums that have For Sale threads, e-Bay, any local companies that sell used restaurant equipment, & your local paper..

Good luck!!

Vitamix will also allow you to break the payments up over a period of months. I think it is three months.
