The things I've made repeatedly are the onion bread, Swiss nut cheese and Nacho nut cheese. Everyone seems to like those. I've also made a few batches of lemon chews, dried some fruit, and made candied walnuts. The other things I tried were not so great. Made some sort of breakfast cookies. They were intended for my daughter. She hated them. I didn't much care for them, but husband liked them. Have also tried potato and corn chips but they didn't taste good.

The potato chips just tasted like starchy raw potatoes. There was one point when they were just warm and softened that they reminded me of mashed potatoes. They tasted good then. Didn't like them when they were done and crisp. It was like biting into a raw potato, only dry.

The corn chips? Pppppyuck! They had a really odd, nasty flavor to me. I've since bought some kind of flavored chips (not raw) that were something like chili lime. I hated them. They had a very odd and bad flavor and this is what my raw corn chips tasted like. The only kind of corn chips I've ever liked is the plain corn ones. So it could be that this is why I didn't like the chips I tried to make. They also smelled VERY bad when they were dehydrating. Stunk up the whole house. And the texture was not good at all. They were not at all crisp. More like kind of oddly slick and chewy. Like a corn fruit roll up or something. I tried several recipes and also raw and frozen corn. Nothing seemed to work.
