Are these supposed to be red when ripe? The ones I bought are green and I had to spit out the seeds because they were indestructable.

Yes. Should be red. I seem to recall the seeds being pretty indestructable too! Ha! ha! The fruit was pretty tasty though.

We get them Orange inside :) or kinda yellowish but really ripe...

Thanks for the info. I guess they can't get ripe at this point? Maybe I'll keep them on the counter till they at least soften up.

I don't buy them in the store. When I had them in the wild - they were just OK. Not something I would call tasty or delicious. If yours are tasty and delicious I want to know what they are and where they come from.

luckitri- I got them at a local Farmers market to try them out. Kind of tastes similar to a pear. It was ok. Next fruit to try is a cherimoya.

I feel like im deprived over on the northern east coast. I dont even know what an agave is or where to find it and it is used so much.:confused:

Agave is actually a sweetener that is in a lot of recipes, and it comes in liquid form. You can order it from Alissa's store for about $14. Hope that helps!
