My name is Rikki. I've been married for the last eight years. In March of 2001 a co-worker and I both went out to a job site. About a month later we both started having health issues. In Sept. 2001 we both ended up in the hospital. After a week of testing we were both told we were basically dying. It turned out that the job site we were on was contaminated with Mercury levels 50 times the legal limits for the state of Texas. We were in and out of doctors for the next year - then Gary died. Every since then life has been very scary. Every pain, flutter or odd feeling leaves me praying "not now - just a little while longer please." I've had to have major surgery and I am totally zapped mentally. physically and spiritually. My weigh issue has esculated to over 310 pounds. I wasn't thin when this all began, then they started treating me and within 3-4 months I had packed on another 80 pounds. I couldn't figure out what was going on until someone informed me that all the meds they had me on had steriods in them. I quit taking them - but have not been able to lose any weigh since. I have basically been vegetarian for the last 6 months. But I want to go Raw. I hope this helps not only my weigh issue but my health issues as well. :o
