hi,
i am planing to start master cleanse tomorrow, but have been debating the choice the entire weekend!!!
I am nursing my 7 month baby boy and always see "no fasting while nursing".
so does anyone actually know anything about this, because i think breastmilk is only the better things from your body that all the toxins escape through some other places...but i can be wrong.
would it be better to do a mix of juice and MC so then ~´m sure that i´m getting all the nutrients???
please help,
i really want to get started tomorrow but don´t want to harm baby

thanks

As far as I have ever seen, toxins do get into the breastmilk and that is bad for a baby. Also, if this is to lose weight, wait!! If it is to detox, just eat raw!

I just read this yesterday in a juice fasting book - do NOT breast feed while fasting bc the toxins DO come out through your milk. I'd hold off - your baby needs the good stuff right now :)

I agree! Nurse the baby! He'll be weaned soon enough, tho' not for a good while, I hope. Then you can fast all you want. Right now he needs you well nourished and you need lots of nourishment to make all that good milk, plus keep up with your daily life! ;)
