Has anyone used this series of exercises from Beach Body? I saw the Thin Thighs Guaranteed! on ExerciseTV last night and many of the exercises were similar to what I did at the gym when working with a trainer. I had good results with that, but wanted to do something motivating at home.

Thanks! :) I've never heard of the callan pittney dvd. I've read good things about the Slim in 6 series though. I should get my DVD in 1-2 weeks. In the meantime, I'll make do with ExerciseTV.

We own the Power 90, the Slim in Six, the Turbo Jam and the Project You from them. I LOVE the Turbo Jam. My husband does best on P90. I didn't care for the Project You and Slim in Six frustrated me. I finished that program, but got annoyed that not all of her exercises were equal on both sides of the body. Sometimes she'd overdo it on one exercise and under do it on another. It's been awhile since I did that program so I can't recall exactly which ones, but my favorite, bar non is Chalene's Turbo Jam. If you like to dance, this one is for you!

Thanks! :) Yesterday I ordered the Beach Body "Great Body Guaranteed!", and Callan Pinckney's "Callanetics: 10 Years Younger in 10 Hours" and "Super Callanetics"

Callanetics: 10 Years Younger in 10 Hours is the first Callanetics videotape to be released and is America's #1-selling exercise video! In fact, the 1997 Entertainment Almanac lists this video as the #4 best-selling video of all time! Callan was waaaayy ahead of her time with this no-impact concept of exercising. People tried it and discovered it really worked. It wasn't an advertising campaign but word-of-mouth that catapulted this videotape to the top of the charts. This original 60-minute break-through workout has revolutionized the exercise world and to this day is still selling as strong as ever. The exercises are deceptively simple yet amazingly powerful. See why this videotape is already a classic.

Super Callanetics is the second Callanetics videotape to be released. Super conditioning! Super results! This challenging hour and a half, advanced workout is for those of you who have mastered the Callanetics: 10 Years Younger in 10 Hours videotape. If you thought the first one was an unexpected challenge - wait 'til this one leaves you begging for mercy!

Callan Pinkney is amazing. I remember my mother raving about her in the early 70's. She had her book at the time. She was a world class ballerina/dancer and sustained a back injury. She created callanetics to heal herself. My Mom has been doing it for 30 years, I think all of 15 minutes a day now. She looks amazing in her late 60's. She's more toned than I am!

Like Amuzon, I enjoy Turbo Jam... that, along with rebounding... good-to-go!

I saw the Turbo Sculpt on exerciseTV this morning and think I'd like that better than Turbo Jam. I just got the Great Body Guaranteed! today. I am getting Slim Series too. I need to figure out how I'm going to incorporate all of these into my workouts.

This comment was very helpful! I've always wondered if the various mealplans could be adjusted to raw..:)

Can anyone comment on the adaptability of some of the other workouts listed.

Finally, Any reviews on the Michael Thurmond (of Extreme Makeover fame) workout/eating plan?? This one really intrigues me.:D

crawmommy, Did a recipe book come with your dvds or did you buy it separately?

Is anyone in the Million Dollar Body club for support?

the recipe book came with the dvd's. it's not very large, but it's enough to get you started. I did raw/ smoothies/ salads and such, toning up, and had a lot of energy.

Essensual- we are not allowed to talk about Michael Thurmond on here- email me separately.
I am not on the Million Dollar Body for support ,but I read the forum for hip hop abs.

I have Slim Series and Turbo Jam. I love them both but Turbo jam does make my back hurt everytime I do it, I think I'll wait until I lose more weight to continue Turbo Jam.

My Slim Series should be here tomorrow or the next day. I did part of Great Body Guaranteed! yesterday and I'm sore today. I did the Stretch, Thin Thighs Guaranteed, part of Great Buns, and very little of Great Abs. My upper legs are very sore and abs are slightly sore.

I watched Turbo Sculpt on exercise tv. That one is doable, but Turbo Jam is out of the question. Although I am sure it burns a lot of calories, it's too much hopping and bopping around for me.

I was wondering if I should've started with that since I've been extremely inconsistent with going to the gym for about a year now. Prior to that I was going 4 or 5 times per week. I did some of Great Body Guaranteed! and was quite sore for several days in the leg/thigh area due to Thin Thighs Guaranteed! or whatever it's called. I got the Slim Series and made it through 20 minutes of Shape it Up! the first time. LOL! I know that if I keep going, I'll be able to do more. The good thing is, I was not very sore after doing the Slim Series, so I guess I'm making progress. I will buckle down and do these several times a week for as long as I can each session. I start my juice feast tomorrow, so I should see some improvement SOMEWHERE! I'd better! :D
