I'm planning on starting a 3 day water fast on Sunday. I'll be drinking tea as well as plain water. Does anyone want to join in with me?

hey i actually started a water fast last night around 7pm. so its been a little over a day. i never fasted before, but yesterday after downing a box of granola bars i realized i had a problem with emotional eating. so i started to do some research and decided i needed to start a new eating plan. anyway, maybe we can help each other out.

I'll join. Starting tomorrow! I have never experienced any major detox, but with fasting I have come to expect fatigue and irritibility...and both of those are difficult for me to deal with. Fatigue because what I do requires a lot of energy. And irritibility because I already have trouble with fluctuating emotions...

I did a 4 day water fast a few months ago,

I suggest that you dont have alot of stuff to do either at work nor study.

I spent the 4th day coughing black stuff up..

But thats what I get really for a spare of the moment 4 day fast. :)

Black stuff? I've heard of detox, but that sounds a little extreme! I suppose, though, hitting the body with a 4-day water fast like that and still trying to live your regular life it could happen, though...I keep wondering if I'm allergic to Manchester, or to cities in general. Ever since I got here I've certainly felt like I'm allergic to something.
