Does anyone know exactly what they are?...are they different from whole oats or steel cut oats? and where can I find them? I've looked a whole foods but they don't have any GROATS but I did see OATS. Confusing....:confused: any thoughts?

Hey Tamara! Oat groats are the first product after the oat kernel has been hulled. They are the least "processed" of all of the oat options. They are one step before steel cut oats. I get mine at my local health food store. They're good soaked, as a sort of 'cereal', and also can be sprouted. They're a good pantry basic to have on hand!
