Blue cheese dressing

my husband loves blue cheese dressing. i am transitioning to be at least 75% raw. on a normal SAD basis. he is 0% raw. literally. So i've made him salads for lunch every day. we bought him some organic blue cheese from WFS. which he loves so much that its all gone in 4 days. I've found myself a ranch dressing replacement that I can totally love and live with. but blue cheese dressing has a more unique (nasty) taste that loves for whatever reason.

what is a good recipe for some thing tasting as close as possible to it?

I don't know of any way to replicate the taste of blue cheese. You could attempt to make your own using better ingredients instead of buying the ready-made. That would probably be healthier. There's also the option of perhaps using raw milk blue cheese. I was raised on raw milk and we used to make our own cheese and I know raw milk blue cheese is out there, so it may be something to consider. I would think almost anything you make at home would be better than many of the processed things you could find on the shelves.

P.S. You may want to do reading before purchasing raw milk cheeses. There is definately a debate that exists. For us we've always liked it and it's an option. We obviously aren't vegan...yet. Certainly could be in the future though.

Here is a recipe that I found, unfortunately it's not rated so I don't know how good it is but it did get good feedback. I like blue cheese dressing too so if this is a nicer replacement that would be wonderful.
