I made awesome potato chips......except they're not made out of potatoes is all! Previous attempts at potato chips in the dehydrator were not successful. But I got an idea from Tropigal's recipe for crunchy, chewy garlicky toast that is so good I had to share.
With a mandolin, cut jicama into paper-thin slices.
I dabbed my finger in olive oil and smeared it on each piece.
Then I sprinkled on either sea salt or nutritional yeast. both were so good!
I dehydrated them for about twelve hours.
Oh, thank God, raw junk food!
Anybody else got any ideas for flavors? Maybe cayenne?
