I have tried to find this recipe here but it eludes me. How can I find stuff? I typed it into the search thing that comes up with the banana. Have my 5 year old grandson here today with a cold and hate to give him SAD and he WANTS pancakes. Sigh!

Found this one posted by snowdrop:
Raw Pancakes
Pancakes:
3/4 c. ground some soaked almonds in the food processor (not too fine--there were still some small almond pieces).
Ground two soaked Medjool dates in with nut mixture.
1/8 c. ground dry flax seed in a coffee grinder and soak in water
Mix all together with leftover carrot/apple pulp from carrot apple juice (from 10 carrots and 2 apples)
Form patties and put into dehydrator at 105 degrees for about 8 hours (Flip half way through and switch to mesh sheet)
Blueberry Syrup:
Put 3 soaked Medjool dates and date water into the food processor to make it smooth, then mix in some blueberries (frozen, then thawed is fine)

You are so welcome. I hope he enjoys them! 8 hours is a long time to wait for a 5 year old...or a 35 year old!

I highly recommend Maraws pancakes as shown in the link provided above. My kids loved them. They are also so easy to make. She just ate them with her hands with no syrup!

Ani phyo has a great recipe for flax-coconut pancakes w/syrup in her book (let me know and I can post it tomorrow). I had something like this from my health food store once - just ground flax, shredded coconut, maybe dates, etc. - its more like a thick patty, then a pancake but its really good.

Ha ha ha! Please let me provide you with a visual for all that heavy panting. . .
These are Maraw's fantastic pancakes  found in her great Raw magazine Purely Delicious or try www.therawtable! I add frozen blueberries and chopped pecans. I LOVE the crunch the pecan give in cantrast to the pancake. We eat them in hand w/o a fork!
Only make what you are going to eat and keep the batter in the fridge and make as needed.
And as mentioned by EZ rider in post #5 Maraws recipe link I posted:

Sorry the pics are not Ani Pyho's coconut flax cakes:o .
That recipe is:
2c. whole fax seeds, or 3c. flax meal
2T. liquid cocnut oil
1/2c. agave or maple
1/2t. salt
1/4c. water
Mix all in bowl. Form into patties. NO DEHYDRATION. Top with syrup. Will keep for 5 days in fridge. From book: ani's raw food kitchen.
The coconut flax cakes sound good! Those aren't dehydrated right?
