Hey there,
I've had moderate to severe hairloss since developing a hormonal imbalance. Wondering if anyone else has had any success with hair regrowth after going raw?
Thanks

Hi,
I was wondering the same thing...My hair is just thinner due to my age, I guesss (46 years young), but I was also wondering if raw food helps, and if so, which types of raw foods...

In Raw Food Real World, Matthew mentioned that he noticed that his hair had gotten thicker and healthier six months after he began eating raw.

I have a hormonal imbalance and my hair is growing back, I was almost bald on the left side of my scalp right in the front. I like to think it's due to raw, I'm not taking any medication.

Do you have pictures? That's something people would like to hear when you talk about the benefits of raw (for you) when you do the cooking classes.

I have been dealing with this problem with years. When i took angstrom sized mineral while pregnant, my hair loss stopped. Then a few month after i gave birth, it started again and haven't stop even on raw food for 7 months.
Here is what i found out so far.
If you have heavy metal, your body will make you lose your hair because this metal is stored in your hair. You will see a lot of other hair growth coming. I think this is my problem. I started to loose my hair when i moved in city. I was drinking tap water.
The other reason for losing hair is that something is wrong with your glands. Your body will feed your primary organ in your body, to the least important. Hair are the least important. Apparentely if you mineralize your body, eventually, your hair will stop falling. Greens will mineralize your body.
Now, for me, i am trying to figure how to get ride of heavy metal in my body. I have been nursing too for two years so it might be a reason why i am still loosing my hair.
Best wishes on your research!

Yes I think I do have a picture available it was bad, my hair was falling out like water coming out of a faucet. I had always been known to have thick somewhat long hair.
Great Idea about having the picture available.

Raw angel mom- Chlorella and cilantro are known for at least removing mercury from the body. Also the pectin in apples are good. You could start there.

Hey,
Thanks for your replies. I think you may be on to something with the heavy metals. I'm hoping that raw foods willhelp the hair I do have become stronger and maybe some new growth also.

You should take Biotin and drink Kombucha tea for hair growth and use a brush massager. I think they are carried at your local drug store.
Lastly, I use this oil called Shapley's MTG oil sample. Its hair oil that used on horses but it grew my hair Alot. I had shoulder length hair and now its bra strap.
Do a search on yahoo on Shapley's MTG oil. Its $7 for sample which last for several months.
Best Wishes,
Natasha
