squash?

I ask this in the cooking area and got no response I really need to know

What part of a acorn squash is edible? Skin? Raw seeds? Muck in the middle?

I just had one of those for dinner! Cooked, though. And it was still tough. I'm not sure if the seeds are edible. The "muck in the middle" is. The skin... the skin would probably be pretty tough, but I don't see why it wouldn't be edible if you wanted to gnaw your way through it. :)

i love squash, discard the skin and the seeds and the pulpy mass in the middle, and eat everything else.
