It seems like so much work to soak and sprout nuts and seeds for some of the recipe's I've been reading. For one recipe the show's host suggested soaking nuts for 12 hours and drain/rinse till the water runs clear and then soak for another 8 hours and dehydrate for 8 hours. That's a lot of work for 1c. of walnuts and one recipe's worth! Is it possible to store soaked nuts for later use?

I was thinking of soaking several cups of different nuts. Would it be possible to freeze them and then thaw when needed? Would I have to dehydrate them first and then freeze or do they not keep long after they're soaked?

I'm getting ready to soak nuts, but I put them in the dehydrator afterwards. Then I'm going to put them in the freezer. I'm confident they should be good for a month afterwards. I'm eating a lot of nuts, but it's keeping me raw. But it's expensive! I need to do more seeds.....

I've been wondering this myself, thank you so much for asking! I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you ><

Im not sure about storing the soaked nuts as they are but if you turn them into stuff, like pie base mixtures etc then I know they will keep in the fridge for a few days & a month in the freezer.
