View Full Version : Healing Disease Without Equipment

I continually have this nagging in the back of my mind telling me that if I need equipment to process it - then it is not natural and most healthy for me.

For example with wheatgrass. Humans are not designed in the mouth to process this like the animals who feed on it primarily. Perhaps we really are not meant to use wheatgrass juice and the like.

So I am thinking that I am not the first person who has thought this way. There probably are some leaders in this way of thinking that I am not aware of.

However, I am not well and I understand that we need to flood our bodies with concentrated and better nutrition if we wish to heal. But maybe that is incorrect also because my body is not utilizing the nutrients that it gets properly. Major nutritional deficiencies have been discovered in me in the last 8 months and it certainly was not for lack of eating the foods that contain those nutrients. Maybe concentrated nutrition is keeping me from healing because it is making my body work too much getting rid of something it is not ready for?

Anybody can help me here? Know more about it?

Anybody know people who have healed without the fresh juices and other forms of concentrated nutrition? By just being raw and eating raw whole foods?

You can always chew a blade of grass to get the juice and then spit out or swallow the pulp, I've done this before so I think it is natural. Since I never had a wheatgrass juicer I would simply cut my grass into short sections and blend it with water and drink it all.

Ann Wigmore said that wheatgrass juice was a medicine, and like all medicines it would loose it's effectiveness as the body adjusted to it. So she recommended drinking it for 3 weeks and then taking a break for one week.

I'm attempting that now. The last few days I've just been eating steamed vegetables. It seems to be working well for me so far. Eventually I'm going to add fruits.

Actually I'm trying to create a diet so I can "cheat" as it were. I want the effects of a fast, but without actually fasting. I suppose I'm lazy that way.

cherries, please tell me what kind of blender do you have? I have read about wheatgrass getting caught in the blades and burning up the motor. I tried chewing it and choked in a bad way.

draginvry, steamed is not raw but some people do believe that steamed lightly provides optimum nutrition especially if you are sick, weak or have stomach damage.
