I have a jar of coconut butter, almond butter and honey sitting on my kitchen counter and they've started melting. The coconut butter is almost completely liquid. Should I store them in the refrigerator to keep them solid, or is that a bad idea?

Nut butter should be stored in the fridge. Honey can be but can get hard if you do. Not sure about coconut butter. Coconut oil should be stored at room temp.

What do the jars say? My almond butter says to refrigerate after opening. I don't like honey, so can't answer that. I think the coconut butter is Ok unrefrigerated. I have coconut oil and it's in the cabinet. I'd think coconut butter would be the same. When I had it, I kept it in the cabinet too.
