I came about the raw food diet by reading lots on vegetarianism. and about alkalizing our bodies along with the claims that state that no disease could live in an alkalized body. So I am giving my body up to Raw Foods to test this theory. I have been a vegan since April 2006 and becoming a raw foodist has become my next step in my journey of reversing my pulmonary fibrosis. I am a lung cancer survivor too. I use oxygen at exertion but that has not stopped me yet. I play volleyball at least twice a week. I ride my bike, workout and I live life! I am one determined woman. I have made large strides in the last couple of years and I have no doubt I will conquer this. I am very positive and a very grateful person. I thank God and the universe for its gifts every single day and I love life. :)
