Hey guys,
I have a question regarding flu shots. I work at a doctor's office and usually get a flu shot every year. Well, since the beginning of the year around Feb. I found this site and have been on the road to eating healthier and eating as much raw as possible, not perfect it's a journey. They wanted me to get one today and I have refused.
So I am wondering if they are safe and with me eating healthier would I need one anyway. I will admit I have not done much research myself on the topic. Thanks for your imput.

I give you so much credit for refraining based on your research. No one can make the decision for you and I would recommend researching some vaccine related sites for more info. Eating better and exercising are our best defense but that doesn't mean we won't get sick. Building our immune systems naturally will keep us healthier than any thing we could inject into our bodies. Good luck in your journey :)

This is my personal opinion... plz don't bash me.. I speak from personal experience. I was a support worker and it was required by the facility that I was to have a flu shot because elderly people are more susceptible to getting the flu which is very true.. I am totally agreeable with that. But from doing so I got so sick and had never been so sick in years! I believe that if you have a strong immune system and you do not have any health problems that are life endangering and your not over 65 with frail health and your job does not require it from you.. DON'T GET ONE!!!!!!!!
I will never ever go near another flu shot needle again :o

i haven't had one in years - even eating cooked. i'm 16 tho. i have always heard bad things about them and never anything good.. so i'd say you don't need one, unless you have a horrible immune system

the thing about the flu shot is that it is geared for the high risk patients, immunosuppressed, elderly, and certain children. the flu strain changes/mutates every year and the batch they made for this year was created preemptively, based on last year's data from the cdc.

THEY WON'T TAKE ME ALIVE.......I have NEVER had one and will NEVER have one. I don't catch Colds. I BELIEVE I can't catch a cold from you. I must invite a cold into my body by doing something Stupid like, going outside on a cold winter day WET. Someone is Always saying, Oh I don't want to give you my cold and I say, don't worry, I don't plan to take it.
Anyway to answer your question........AN'T NO WAY IN satins WORLD... WOULD I TAKE THE SHOT...........

Hey Guys,
Thanks for your responses-my gut was telling me not to get one, but I wanted reassurance. I am a healthy person so I think I will be alright. Also hi there Nebraska I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and now I live in Sandusky, Ohio.
Nah, ain't takin' 'em. Did you see Oprah? She was shedding light on the fact that some of these vaccines give kids Autism. I don't trust vaccines and won't ever take one, nor will my kids. If that means they'd have to be home schooled, that's fine with me. Expect people to look at you like you're a nut for not getting the shot, but they don't know any better. We live in a brainwashed society and it definitely helps to think for yourself and go with your intuition.

OHHHHH! I LOVE that! I can't wait to use it! Let us not forget, germs are a good thing and needed to build strong immunities. We gotta work 'em! :D

Couple of things.
I haven't had a flu shot since I got out of the Army over 12 years ago. I've only had the flu once in that whole time, and I don't count that, cause I was in Japan at the time and it's just different there. (Good different).
Also, there is still mercury containing thimerisol in the flu shots. I am one of the ones who has a child with autism and mercury messing with your brain is NO fun.
So way your options carefully, and then you need to make the best decision for YOU.
HTH!:D

There is no WAY I would suggest ANYone... I don't care what their age or condition is. The ones with the weakest immune systems are the ones who should NOT get it!!! How can children build an immune system by taking drugs?
One of my clients almost died from the last one he got. It took him YEARS to recover.
IF you read the side effects... one of them is DEATH!!! Helloooooo!!!!
Vaccines are the most insidious things ever created by man. IF/when someone heals themselves from whatever dis-ease they've created it's in spite of, not because of some drug they've taken.
So! That's MY take on it.

last year my best friends aunt died of the flu
she didnt die of the flu shot
she didnt go for it cos she read in a magazine they were bad for you...
you have to do what you truly sense is right for you...as long as it IS what is right for you ... exercise absolute caution and make the right choice xx
