I've been about 75% raw for over a month and 100% for the last 3 days. But in this last month I've lost 6 pounds. Someone took notice last week. Someone I see everyday.

But today someone I haven't seen in a month noticed my 6 pounds. She said it with a force as if it is totally obvious I'm losing. Which makes me feel GREAT!!!

This is like confirmation that I can stick to it. In fact, my husband (who is trying to do atkins again) is considering raw instead. Which is fantastic, I hate that he's doing atkins, now that I know about RAW. But now I think he's considering. Thats a whole different topic

When did peeps notice your weight loss? how far into it were you?

Well I've only been raw for 6 days and no one has noticed yet... but I'm patiently waiting ;) That would be great if you could get dh to do raw. I would LOVE to get my dh to do this with me. Talk about support!! Plus Atkins and Raw together... tough mix :)

Today is my 6th day on "All RAW" and i'm noticing more determination and alertness.
My scales are not reflecting any weight loss but my clothes seem slightly looser, it's different for everyone so i've not upset by it:)
My face is slimming down a little and my features seem to be changing slightly if that makes any sense:)
I'm looking forward to losing 35 to 40 pounds when i get to my goal and i know i will.
Congrads to you:)

It is. We've been married 2 1/2 years and I've found that NOT badgering him to do things like this and letting him figure it out on his own works mostly to my advantage. Plus he's getting older and starting to realize things. He's 29 and I'm 25. I've totally noticed how our mind sets are maturing and losing the teenage stubborness. (me at least) :)

Stacy - That makes sense. DH is 36 and I am 32 so we're getting a little less stuborn ;) Smart not to badger... I quit doing that a while ago myself. I just offer to let him try stuff as I make it and I also make him his usual SAD meal so he doesn't feel like I'm neglecting him with my new lifestyle. We've been married 6 years now so I've learned a few things along the way on how to deal with him ;) LOL!

When I went from 142lbs to 125lbs in a little over 1 month no body said anything about my weight. No one noticed.. and promise you.. I was told I looked the same
But I felt great and I went from a size 9 to a size 7 when I dropped that weight. :D The fact that I notice my self.. and see it in my clothes is enough to know I am doing great.

This is my 2nd attempt at 100%, been at it a month so far and I (or anyone else) notice no change!! lol..The first time 2 yrs ago it was sooo noticeable; I saw a difference in my skin and eyes within 2 weeks! and other people noticed too.

I'm older than my husband and going all raw will make a change in our relationship, more energy and a more calmer attitude.
I've noticed that things don't bother me as much as when i wasn't raw, i can take things without getting out of control now and i have more patience for my husband but i'm still working on that:)
I've heard age is just a number and i do believe that, i'm as old as i feel and i feel young and burden free:D i love the new me and i think my husband does too.
I tell him not to shave his bread because it makes him look too young but i won't have that problem much longer:)

I would love for my dh to be raw with me..he is actually considering it .

As far as others seeing the weight loss...I have been raw for 4 days and lost about 3-4 lbs. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday with folks I haven't seen in a while, I wonder if anyone will notice...it is not a big change, but my face has thinned out a bit :D

I saw some friends for the first time in about 6 weeks; two weeks before I went raw. When I saw them on Sunday their reaction was awesome. First they said "WOW you've been losing weight!". When they got closer they were really shocked "You look so much younger. It's unreal!"

Those were the best compliments I have gotten in a long time. I felt so healthy and glowing!

I went to a function a month ago where a friend of mine hadn't seen me since we met for lunch in July. Her jaw dropped and her eyes got big and she said, "What in the WORLD have you been doing? You are so radiant! Are you pregnant?" I explained all about raw and she basically said, "Well, I could never do anything THAT radical." Ummmmm. Okay. Smile & nod.

My neighbor noticed too. She said she thought she noticed a few weeks ago, but can now definitely see a change. I guess since August when I started getting serious about raw I have lost maybe nine or ten pounds or so.

Feels good, doesn't it? :D

The first time someone took notice I had been trying to go raw for about 3 weeks. My daughter was the first one to notice and my girlfriend that I had not seen in almost a year asked if I had gotten a face lift. I informed her that I had changed my lifestyle and was going raw. Just a 4 days ago, my husband told me that I had reversed the clock and that he couldn't get over how much younger i look and my daughter told me today that my skin was fantastic. My husband started trying my smoothies a little bit at a time and said he would like to try following the raw life style with me. He is on day 3 and i am so proud of him. Each day when I get up, I can't believe how wonderful I feel and my energy level is out of site. When I look in the mirror I can't believe its me! I only wish I had know about this raw lifestyle years ago. I am not 100% raw yet, but I know I will be eventually.

Wow ladypeace that is great that people are already noticing. I lost 40 pounds before any one said anything and it was depresssing! When I lost 50 than I had a bunch of people say stuff but I was pretty big though.

3-4 months into it. I must have had some SERIOUS detoxing to do. I didn't get the raw buzz til months after I first began. When I catch myself in a mirror I'm still surprised sometimes at what I see. It's pretty grand.

Is it really radical? I don't think it is, esp. with the way society is today and what's being marketed as "food". I understand the friend though, 'cause when I first started hearing about eating raw I was oppositional until I tried it. I always imagined a plate of dry, raw broccoli. It's a spiritual thing in my opinion and rawbies or even part rawbies are more apt to heal on a deeper level spiritually or at the very least are looking for something more than the norm. Not that a non-rawbie or rawbie is better than the other.

Having dropped that much weight I am sure you looked much healthier. The fact no one said anything just goes to show how self absorbed and oblivious people can be. I hope to have the same success as I went raw October 1st. My biggest concern is when I will stop feeling like I am starving as I don't have a dehydrator yet and am living pretty much on juice, carrots, celery, apples, lettuce, Almonds, the occasional mango, grapefruits, almond butter and honey.

I think I am detoxing through my face. I have never had acne, ever. I now have the three hugest zits on my chin and my face feels raw. I am tired and grumpy. I am hoping to feel the difference soon. It has only been three days and I committed myself the 30 day challenge.

this spring and summer i completed two long master cleanse fasts (64 days total) prior to going 80% raw, so i already shocked people who hadn't seen me for awhile with the weight loss (45 lbs). after reaching 90% raw/10% vegan at present, i'm noticing more wonderful benefits and things about myself...more clarity, calmness, happiness, peace, lightness of being, both physical and spiritual and a more open heart. i loved my boyfriend, family and friends before of course, but now I just eat them up and appreciate their companionship so much more. i think because i'm resonating in these great vibrations, it's also impacting those in my life.

the best way to spread the word about the raw lifestyle is to just let them see you and how great you feel and look, lol. i learned this the hard way and used to preach. now i simply wait until folks ask me questions and then i share what i'm doing.

life is good :D
