Raw Bar

I bought one this morning. I was in a hurry but it said RAW on the front. It turns out that it contains non-raw oats and non-raw apple juice. I have emailed the company to complain :(

That sucks!!!! I've had that happen with a few products sofar...so annoying that companies think if an item has a couple of raw ingredients they can call the whole thing raw.

That does suck! How did you determine that the oats and apple juice weren't raw? Which bar?

I discovered the "dreadful truth" when I turned the packet over and unfolded the flappy bit where it listed lots of raw foods and then "oats" and "apple juice".

I got no reply to my email so I rang the company and they said that they had since redesigned their packaging as they had received a number of complaints. I pointed out that their website still had pictures of the old packaging on it.

At no point did the person apologise or offer any refund or anything. I can't remember the name of the company - they are based in the UK. I will look it up tomorrow as I left the bar in work for one of my colleagues.

I'm planning a trip to Wild Oats tomorrow to stock up on RAW foods they have said they stock :D
