Anyone know? I am pretty "needy" when it comes to cravings and I am learning that unless I have a green smoothy readily available when a craving something heinous hits I will just rationalize all things sensible away and head to the nearest fast-food restaurant. So, I was thinking I would try to keep a day's worth of green smoothies on hand in the fridge...is that doable? What about if I make a green smoothie and then poor it into an ice cube tray and store it that way???

Mine keep 2 days. I think that the heat we have been experiencing still affects what happens in the fridge regardless of the supposed temp control in there. Maybe in other parts they keep longer. Also fill them up till they are spilling over so that there is no air in there. Wipe the spillage off and then put them away.

I just made a smoothie and had a big cup just to get me "mentally" back on track. I screwed up today and ate bad stuff and wanted to get back on track for the morning. So, with the remainder of the green smoothie I put them in ice cube trays and then I ziplocked the rest of the greens that I couldnt get into the blender and froze them because I have had them for 2 days now and I didnt want them to go bad. I hope it works. :)

I have read that VFL does that. I try to go to the store every 2 or 3 days for fresh but it can get ridiculous. Fortunately I have 2 stores right on my block.

In "Green For Life", she says 3 days. You'll probably have to experiment. It would probably depend on the freshness and type of ingredients and temperature of your fridge.
