Hey Veganbear!
OK, here I am stranded here across the pond and desperatly need a recipe for raw Hob Nobs:o !
I have bought Alissas raw rolled oats but just cannot get it right, but I will keep trying.
For all the non British viewing audience a Hob Nob is a crisp oaty biscuit; it's actually very simple and is smashing with a cuppa!
The challenge is on can your recipe be the answer to my teatime dreams. . .
Cheers,
EPPP
Ingredients: rolled oats 38%, wholemeal 23%, sugar, veg oil, glucose-fructose syrup, raising agents, salt,
What are the listed ingredients so we will know where to begin??? What are they similar to.... oatmeal cookie, cracker, etc????

I've never had a Hob Nob, but this site has a Oat Biscotti recipe that looks good. http://www.thedailyraw.blogspot.com/

OK, so Raw Hobs are just in the dehydrator ready to be turned on when we go to bed...
I'm very tempted to dip them in chocolate when they are ready and cooled enough...
Mind you it just wouldn't be me if there wasn't chocolate in the recipe...
I will let you know how they turn out and post the recipe with photos on my blog...
I love raw but it take so long to make some things...
All the chocolate brownies are gone and I dont have time to make some more...

the problem I think we are going to have is Hob Nobs are very dry so dehydrating them could take a long time and also part of the taste is that darkend sugar and toasted oats taste...
But hay if all that comes out of it is I find another cookie recipe to add to the list so be it... *sorry I'm having a deep day, it's day 4 on the raw food challenge and I've just been writing on the blog*
Hob Cookies have just been turned and I so go to work...
