How can I make them room temp quickly without de-rawing them?
Thanks!:D :D

I also don't care for entrees cold out of the fridge. I plan ahead and take what I want to eat out earlier in the day. If I am working that day I take it out in the morning. Nothing has ever spoiled and I enjoy the food much more at room temperature.
I have tried using the dehydrator but have not been happy with the results. It seems to make the food much more dry than I like.

Prior to the meal, I'll leave out the food so it's not as cold. Some will heat up using a stove & thermometer.

soups & the like you can keep in serving-sized baggies & dehydrate; they don't dry out that way- just warm up. That's what I do with the chili- throw it in the dehydrator (in a baggie) in the morning & run home & eat it for lunch!

I'm strange... on a nice sunny day (it doesn't even have to be warm) I will set my food out on the porch. I put a cover over it.. usually some plastic wrap, and set it directly in the sun for 20 mins and it's perfect. I do this Mostly for my nori rolls because they keep in the coolness alot more than other foods.

Trinity, you are not strange... I do the same thing and the food tastes awesome. Or maybe we're just both strange..... ;)

At the moment I use Mother Nature's dehydrator - the sun. Just pop what I want to eat on a sunny window sill, it's all good in 15-20 mins. I think for cloudy days and colder weather I will keep my foods wrapped and pop it in the dehydrator.
