Need Pickle

Can anyone tell me how to "make" pickles? I know you soak cucumbers, but how do I make a raw brine and how long will it take??

We made a cucumber recipe recently that was very pickle-y tasting and quite yummy.

Sliced cucumbers with lime juice, sea salt and cayenne pepper. Let marinate until soft. Simple, quick, easy and tasty!

I have also tried Bubbie's dill pickles lately, a raw pickle that can be found at health food stores. They are great pickles.

I put the sliced cukes in a brine made out of acv, slivers of garlic, and dill and keep in the fridge. You can always re-use the brine to make new ones. ~ Cathy
