Add picture to signature

I'd like to be able to have a picture in my signature.
I can't get it to work. is this even possibel?

I've never tried to put a picture in my signature so I'm not sure if it's possible or not. I "think" the forum may have been set up that no images can go in signatures but I'm not totally sure. I'll see if I can find out...
