My absolute favorite raw recipe, but I had to either cut back (No way, I love this stuff!!) or modify the recipe to cut back my fat intake (trying to lose wt) since I use this as a soup base, pizza topping, sandwich spread, veggie topper, and dip. I can't take the credit for the idea though, since I followed someone elses lead that substituted cauliflower for some of the nuts in the "Deviled Eggless Spread" (Thanks RowanC!!:p )
For the 1 cup of nuts, I used only 1/3 cup cashews and 1 cup cauliflower. I left everything else the same, maybe a little more water to make it smooth. It still thickens up in the fridge, just as yummy, 60% less fat. ;)

Margueritte, thank you for posting your results with this. I to seem to want an unbalanced amount of nutty recipes. I may try using zucchini instead of the cauliflower, it gives me gas so bad. I just love taking a recipe and using other ingredients. :D

Lol I'm not changing anything from the original recipe cos I love it.:p

I eat tons of it and am loosing weight about 1lb every 1 or 2 days which is really fast.

If you are100% raw you will loose weight lol:D

Yeshia-
I love this stuff too! I am 100% but my weight loss seems to stall when I eat too many nuts or dehydrated recipes. I have seen many other posts from people with the same concerns, even those that watch calories:eek: . All things in moderation I guess...

Everybody's body/metabolism is unique. What works for one person doesn't work for another.

What is the serving size of this recipe? Will there be extra to put in the fridge or is it enough for one sitting. :)
